The Dugout is most definitely a hidden gem up to this point. I say "up to this point" because it is sort of out of place from the other Yankee bars like Stans or Yankee Tavern as it is further down the street, except... it just so happens it will be just opposite the new Yankee Stadium so expect this place to be packed in 2009! It really is considered upscale for the location, they have leather massage chairs, nicely done wood floors, a huge lounge in the back with three actual bars. They really do have a nice setup here and I almost cringe at telling people about it as my buddies and I have enjoyed the less crowded atmosphere here.
