Sitting majestically at the mouth of the entrance of Navy Pier, this lighthouse sits on Lake Michigan, guiding boats and sailors safely into Chicago's shore. In order to get to the Chicago River from Lake Michigan, you must pass this lighthouse.
Just offshore on Lake Michigan, East of Navy Pier in Chicago sits the breakwall lighthouse. Probably one of the most famous sites observed on Chicago's lakefront, the best view is from outside the breakwall. You can get this angle from one of the many lake cruises offered at Navy Pier.
