Discovery Park, Seattle, Washington
Discovery Park in Seattle, Washington is a 500 acre nature reserve that is owned and managed by the City of Seattle. It is the largest park in the city and it occupies land formerly used by Fort Lawton. The park offers miles of hiking and mountain biking trails as well as miles of protected tidal beaches, open meadows, bluffs, streams and other natural features. Weather-permitting, Discovery Park offers stunning views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains and the summits of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Olympus and Mt. Baker.
