Cheddar Gorge - The Gorge
A very steep little valley which you would not expect in the middle of the smooth hills in this area. Good for climbing and the neighborhood is also good for caving/pottholing.
About this place:
Cheddar Gorge is the largest gorge in the United Kingdom near the village of Cheddar in the Mendip Hills in Somerset, England. The gorge is the site of the Cheddar Caves, where Britain's oldest complete human skeleton, Cheddar Man, estimated to be 9,000 years old, was found in 1903.
Apart from that it is a beautiful place to visit - a bit touristy but with a couple of gorgeous views.
