Rathaus Lion
Two lions carved out of pillar bases guard the main entrance to the Neues Rathaus.
About this place:
The landmark of Hannover is the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus). Inside are four models of the town at different times recent history and the only working diagonal-elevator in Germany, which goes up the large dome.
The Rathaus was built from 1901 to 1913.
