  We ended up staying for five weeks on this beautiful island of Koh Chang not just two like we had planned. It was so much fun exploring most of it via a hired jeep which only cost around $30 a day. We stayed in everything from a bamboo hut on the beach to an air conditioned rented house. We ate at too many of the restaurants to count and got to know many of the locals like friends. When it was time to leave, it had started to feel like home and we all agreed that it had been the best adventure we'd had so far.
