  Traveling to India, you may have to suspend your belief in bacteria. Raw chicken hanging in the sun for hours on end? Flies? Yes, that's the chicken that will be in your Tikka Masala later--and it's going to be good. I figure that after taking reasonable precautions, you just have to get out there and eat with the locals. (It will only make you stronger.) And you aren't really experiencing a place if you only eat the Clif Bars you brought from home. You'd be surprised how overly sanitized we are most of the time.
