Christy Turlington was born and raised in Danville -- an East Bay suburb of San Francisco. In 2008, you can see images of the supermodel plastered 20-feet high along Maiden Lane in the Union Square shopping district.
About this place:
Maiden Lane is lined with designer stores and cafes, just off Union Square. One of my favorite places is a French cafe where jazz artists play regularly as people sit and watch. The soulful jazz echoes down the street and is a great distraction from the more touristy area of Union Square.
