Tokamachi is the place, where they hold the famously known Tokamachi snow festival, people travel from all different parts of Japan, and everywhere witness this festival that welcomes everyone, and that you will enjoy, you get to walk all over town and see beautiful pieces of art on the street, some of which are very detailed and you might wonder how they did it? I asked myself that question, if you get a chance come to Tokamachi and partake and it's festival, they have a mall, and all kinds of things to eat from sushi to chocolate covered bananas, and at night they have a TV show broadcasting the festival, fireworks at night, cheerleaders and the whole nine yards,and if you bring your kids they have a lot of kids playing in slides and making their own snow man, and they have activities for them as well, you won't regret it.
