About this place:
Highway 35, the great highway is the road featured at the end of the book Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson. He started at the soccer fields behind the Beach Chalet, then down the beach along Highway 35 (pictured), around the zoo where the road curves out towards the ocean, right onto Skyline Blvd., and down the PCH to Santa Cruz; blasting at full screw the entire way.
