Place to eat: Woodward's Garden, San Francisco, California, United States

About this place:

Hidden beneath a freeway overpass, this romantic restaurant is named after a 19th-century theme park that has, sadly, disappeared. Everyone, Everywhere, should be so lucky to have a similar neighborhood restaurant serving splendid wines (many from neighboring Napa and Sonoma) and tasty dishes like truffled mushroom risotto or green-garlic ravioli.

Open for dinner only. Reservations suggested.
