Guards stoically watching the main entrance to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Don't wait around for these gentlemen to do anything interesting - although a brief spectacle ensues every time the guard is changed.
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the revered final resting place of Uncle Ho. Supposedly shaped like a lotus, the building is decidedly more blocky than it is flowery - and it sits on the edge of large, desolate Ba Dinh Square. You can venture inside to have a look at Ho Chi Minh himself, but strict rules apply, and the opening hours are limited.
