About this place:
The Baronet Theatre is a couple blocks from the boardwalk in Asbury Park, New Jersey. It opened in 1913 as the Ocean Theatre and was remodeled in 1953 to take on an art deco style. It had been opened until the summer of 2007 and had remained dark since then.
The 546 seat theater was especially known for its mirrored lobby, a huge Manley popcorn machine and its stage with a proscenium arch. The remaining question is whether the theatre will survive the wrecking ball or come back to life as the town comes back...
