During a recent visit to Woodstock we came upon this guy riding a trike around town as he took videos. A truly "Woodstock" method !
Peace, love and good times. This is the town for which the world-famous festival was named.
Though the neither original festival nor any of the subsequent ones actually happened here, the town of Woodstock has become synonymous with the hippie movement. A place where all sorts of folks can be themselves and share good vibes.
The main drag, Tinker Street, is chock full of esoteric and eclectic shops and restaurants, and there's always something interesting happening on the main green.
In recent years, Woodstock has become home to the prestigious Woodstock Film Festival, which brings out many celebrities (many of whom live in and around the town) and introduces major new talent to the film world.
From the colorful residents, to the frequent free concerts, to the regular Sunday afternoon drum circles, there's always something fun to see.
If you are an outdoors type, beautiful mountain hiking trails are only minutes away.
Art lover? Galleries of some of the most unique art you'll ever see are all around you.
The Colony Cafe and the Bearsville Theater provide first class entertainment when the sun goes down.
I love this town! You will too!
