This is old school bargain shopping for folks with a lot of endurance. It started out selling -- you guessed it! -- pottery, and became the compulsory side-trip for shoppers visiting Colonial Williamsburg in the 40s and 50s Today it is mixture of the old and the new, with newer outlet stores springing up around it. Advertising 10 acres of stuff, WPF still has pots and moccasins, but has added linens, housewares, and gewgaws from near and far.
