The Hotel Utica is a Clarion Hotel but surprisingly it is also a National Historic Hotel. It was built in 1912 and has been recently restored. People such as Eleanor Roosevelt, Judy Garland, and Babe Ruth all have had ties to this establishment. The lobby, mezzanine and restaraunt all have been brought back to the era of early 20th century.
