  The Mara Sops Lodge is a mid range lodge for the Mara. We do not require a lot of luxury, (and can not afford it), so we were more than pleased. When we arrived, we were greeted in the reception area with a cool drink and a wet washcloth and then warm , dry towels to soothe our faces after the dusty five hour drive from Nairobi. My only real complaint is that the desserts in the buffet dinners looked great but were tasteless and bland. I thought it may just be me, but I asked our driver, and he agreed.
