This stretch of Sixth Street has been trying to transform itself for years with moderate success at best. One of the oldest tenants is Tu Lan, serving up some of the tastiest Vietnamese food in San Francisco since 1977. Work your way past the unsavory characters and you'll be rewarded with a warm bowl of Pho Bo, a crispy Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe), juicy Bun Cha or any one of their other tasty dishes.
