Yaletown is an old automotive warehouse district that has been yuppified over the last twenty years. Neighbourhood is very similar to New York's SoHo in character, but has much more pedestrian and patio space available because of large loading docks in front of the buildings.

Head to Yaletown to visit some of Vancouver's best and priciest restaurants. Here you will also find a number of specialized kitchen and furniture stores.

The area is very popular with many Vancouverites who moved into the area when lofts in the old warehouse buildings were still affordable. During the day, you will find many young professionals strolling with their cups of lattes in hand on a break from many game design studios located in the area.
