Green Key Sunset

Green Key Sunset

This is the view from the beach of the sunset out over the Gulf of Mexico.

About this place:

This relatively small, yet charming, park is known to everyone as Green Key Beach. The county renamed it a few years ago. Photographical opportunities abound at this location as it is a host to many forms of wildlife such as birds, raccoons, rabbits, turtles and marine life. One key feature is that Green Key has phenomenal sunsets year round. As a beach is pretty standard for what you will find on the Gulf of Mexico in this area and northward. There is a long boardwalk through scrub and swamp that leads to the north side of the key where the Gulf views are from a shaded gazebo. A playground offers amusement to children as well as a swimming area for beachgoers.
