The Asa Packer Mansion is located in Jim Thorpe, PA. It was the home of the founder of the town and is amazing to go through and learn of it's history and the relation to the Molly McQuires. Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania is the perfect place to go for so many reasons. It is a town known for it's quaint shops, wonderful bed and breakfasts, as well as great surrounding outdoor activities like biking, hiking and whitewater rafting. To add to the fun..it is also home to a "haunted jail cell"..has many historical landmarks and hosts a fantastic and nationally recognized mystery weekend in the Harry Packer Mansion which is adjacent to this property.
