Just one of the many ponies that roams the beach on Assateague Island. There were originally many more...as they used to swim back and forth between this one and another island years ago.
About this place:
Assateague Island is amazing for so many reasons. You get to camp right on the beach...you see wild ponies and deer wandering right there among the campsites...Imagine falling asleep at night to the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep. Just make sure to bring your bug spray since unfortunately, it's also known for it's mosquitoes.
