curious deer on Assateague Island
The deer would just freely roam around the island. I caught this one just as it crossed the road headed toward the dunes.

Assateague Island is amazing for so many reasons. You get to camp right on the beach...you see wild ponies and deer wandering right there among the campsites...Imagine falling asleep at night to the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep. Just make sure to bring your bug spray since unfortunately, it's also known for it's mosquitoes.
