The history of Shenzen is younger than most of our school-age children, but has grown inexplicably fast. A state-of-the-art subway system links everyone together efficiently and the parks in between are beautiful in their unique ways. Shenzen is a very green city, as it is plagued by the same tropical climate as Hong Kong. Most tourists only experience Hong Kong, but just a short train ride away is an extremely urban place in Asian character that remains barely touched by tourism.
