    These photos truly make me want to take another weekend expedition along Highway 50. I yearn to head back to the desert outback of Nevada! I have been lucky to do it a few times, but I never tire of the idea of speeding across the many mountain ranges of Nevada only slowing to stop through Fallon, Eureka and Ely.

    I've had so many great experiences driving along this stretch of Highway 50. It's a remarkable stretch of highway, and all the more so because of all those "Loneliest Highway in America" signs that line the route. The distances you cross on Nevada 50 are vast, and the landmarks are minimal. The miles just melt away as the scenery floats by out the car window.
