Being seven inches tall ain't easy. These prickly cacti in the Badlands National Park are killers if you don't watch where you're going.
When parts of the South Dakota prairie washes away, you are left with a landscape that resembles the moon. Layer upon layer of the region's history are revealed in sand and clay before ending in high, rugged peaks, nearly impassable peaks. A spectacle of constant erosion and a perfect place to camp and hike.
