The drizzle cleared long enough to capture a few snaps of the Peace Memorial fortuitously framed by the surrounding trees.
At the site of the August 6, 1945 nuclear blast over Hiroshima, Japan. The structure lying directly under the hypocenter of the explosion and now known as the "A-Bomb Dome" remained partially standing after the blast, and has been preserved in this state since 1945.
