an arm-shaped spit of land (mostly sand) that's attached to the eastern shore of Massachusetts; it's the place the Pilgrims landed FIRST before Plymouth, and it's the place where hundreds of thousands of visitors vacation every summer. With one foot firmly in the past and the other on the beach, it's a great destination to get away, and a great place to take pictures
