Often referred to as "the Beverly Hills" of the Netherlands, Wassenaar is a town just outside The Hague and home to a large expatriate community, leaders of Dutch business and government as well as members of the Royal family. Yet despite its reputation as a mecca of wealth in the country it remains a charming european town that has benefited from the multiple cultures that call it home.
