Narragansett Beach is on the southern coast of the western leg of Rhode Island. The beach in itself is fairly standard with a few exceptions.
A lilting accent, part proper British and part rhythmic Caribbean, drifts on the breeze as the ferries chug in and out of the picturesque harbor. Golf carts clog the roads while the sun sets spectacularly over the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.
Grab a ferry from Sayville, Long Island (NY) to Fire Island and visit this unique location. The Sunken Forest is one of the last remaining maritime forests on the eastern seaboard.
