Walking down a path alone through Brompton Cemetery in London on a cold, cloudy winter day, I couldn't help but feel so grateful that I was one of the few things alive and well in this Victorian cemetery.
The eccentric outfits, spirited competitors and raucous spectators make the London marathon one of the cities many sporting and cultural highlights.
I was on a day trip into London...even though I am Londoner born and bred, the place never fails to fascinate me and always gives many photo opportunities..
As I was strolling through Trafalgar Square, which was packed with Summer Tourists with their cameras, I noticed the 2 girls in a world of their own as they captured themselves in front of the fountains.......
I feel it just caught that moment of happiness they were experiencing

an expanse of water of approximately .5 mile long situated on the north bank of the river thames in east london sandwiched between custom house & silvertown in londons borough of newham. it was originally built as a working dock opening in 1855 but ceased operating in 1981.

The old British Library Reading Room is at the heart of the British Museum and the centrepiece of the redesigned and covered Great Court that was formally opened in 2000.
It's not an 'art gallery', but it is home to an amazing array of art from many cultures and eras. My personal favourite are the galleries containing the friezes and sculpture from the ancient world.
