National Park, Plitvica Lakes
Skull Rock, found in Joshua Tree National Park near 29 Palms, California is an impressive stop for those that venture into the park. The other worldly formations are something to behold as you travel the place where "the streets have no names." (Thank you to U-2 from providing some perfect travel music!)
Of course, no visit to Joshua Tree National Park would be complete without taking the time to spend some time admiring the namesake of the park. The landscape and unique vegitation makes you truly feel as though you are visiting another world.
Go to a desert... Need to find an oasis.
As you walk down to the rugged shoreline, you'll be rewarded by paying some attention to the grasses and small plants and lichens that cling to the rocks. Remember: it's the North Atlantic out there!
Komodo National Park is home to world's biggest lizards, the Komodo Dragon.
These monsters can grow up to 10 feet long and are known for their appitite
The lizards on the island all look well fed. They have gigantic claws, they can apparently break your legs with a sweep of its tail and are obviously the rulers of this island.
