The movie 'Tuck Everlasting' was filmed in this park and features all of the aforementioned attributes to the area.

    The waterfall (Kilgore Falls) in the Falling Branch section of the park is Maryland's second highest vertical drop waterfall.

    Sequoia National Forest is located south of the eponymous national park, and is a worthy detour if you're traveling north from LA. The forest features plenty of trails and campgrounds - and if you're in a sports car, Highway 190 is a fantastic drive.
