One of the greatest things about driving around in Ireland...it's to get lost..you've no idea where to go and finally it comes this beautiful street sign to rescue you!:-)
Casa de las Guayaberas, Miami
Arguably San Francisco's best used bookstore.
Hot Dog Johnny's, along Route 46 in Buttzville (heh heh!), New Jersey.
Route 46 was a major east-west throughfare before Interstate 80 was built, and Hot Dog Johnny's, which opened in 1944, is a pristine reminder of what roadside architecture and cuisine were like back in the day.
It doesn't get any more classic than this! Old skool bowling, at Brentwood Bowl, in South San Francisco, California
A beautifully handspreyed busstop sign in the streets of Cusco, Peru
Fisherman's Wharf
Handpainted toilet sign I found in a busstation in Bolivia
Only one of New Orleans most recognized culinary institutions. Located on the corner of Tchoupitoulas (chop-it-too-lis), should you have a craving for a Po' boy or some jambalaya, this would be your first recommended stop.
