A panorama showing the beautiful Kaieteur Falls and the Potaro River valley in Guaya.
Kaieteur Falls is widely recognized as the highest single-drop waterfall in the world -- although some argue that that distinction belongs to Angel Falls in Venezuela. Either way, it's a gorgeous spectacle, and well-worth seeing if you're up for an Amazon rainforest adventure.
You can reach Kaieteur either by jet boat, or via a short flight from the Ogle airstrip, just east of Georgetown.
