From Madero Street, you can see this side of the Latin-American Tower, Torre Latinoamericana. Les than 100 yards away, a colonial church tower stands too.

Burana Tower, located about an hour east of Bishkek near the city of Tokmok, is all that remains of the ancient city of Balasagyn, once the thriving capital of the Karakhanid Empire. Apparently, at its height, the city manufactured exquisite glass and ceramics, had an elaborate city-wide irrigation/plumbing/sewer system built with fired-clay pipes, was home to scholars, poets and numerous religions (although in its later years it became a Muslim city), it was home to fierce warriors – male and female – and it was a major stop on one of the Silk Road routes (from the Torugart Pass out of China, past Lake Issyk-Kul through what is now Bishkek before heading further westward.
Coit Tower stands atop Telegraph Hill in San Francisco's Pioneer Park, and offers fantastic views of San Francisco including the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park ("Aquatic Park"), Alcatraz, Pier 39, Angel Island, Treasure Island, the Bay Bridge, Russian Hill, the Financial District, Lombard Street, and Nob Hill.
This is one of the places visitors usually go to see when coming to Houston. It used to be Transco Tower now Williams.

Just outside of Birmingham, Alabama sits the sleepy community of Ross Bridge in Hoover. In the middle of it all is the Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa.
