Originally built in 138 A.D., this temple and archway is among the most beautiful and well-preserved structures in Ephesus.

Just outside the small Russian community of Muromtsevo lie the remains of the once impressive Khrapovitsky Estate. Built in the 19th century by Count Khrapovitsky, and he based his architectural designs on medieval German castles, making this estate an oddity in Russia.
The ruined citadel of Koshoy Korgon, is located just outside of the village of Kara-Suu. Not much is known about this fortress (at least according to my guidebooks, anyway) but it dates from roughly the 10th century, and was probably Karakhanid.
