Downtown Madrid, Spain! Terrific architecture, endless outdoor cafés, regal buildings from the Royal family, a marvelous central park and some of the prettiest squares in Europe make this a beautiful city to discover.

In the 1960’s the majority of young people fled villages to work in Madrid. Wineries are seen as one way to revive these ghost towns by providing a living for local farmers and wine makers.

When arriving in Montreal by air you might get lucky with your approach to Trudeau Airport and fly right past the downtown core. From that perspective you can view Mont Royal, downtown itself, Old Montreal and the port.
