Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin is one of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Here, great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert and created the world's largest gypsum dune field.
white sands is a national monument in southern new mexico...it's filled with incredible pure white sand dunes and has been described as "like snow, but not" by locals...
Probably the best preserved of all Ghost Towns. Bodie was known for being an incredibly lawless town.

A visit to Santa Fe would not be complete without a day trip to the high mountain art community of Taos, NM. There are several different ways to make your way to Taos but the very best way (as far as I'm concerned) is to take the "High Road".

The old British Library Reading Room is at the heart of the British Museum and the centrepiece of the redesigned and covered Great Court that was formally opened in 2000.
It's not an 'art gallery', but it is home to an amazing array of art from many cultures and eras. My personal favourite are the galleries containing the friezes and sculpture from the ancient world.
Venice Beach, CA
It's basically a real close up of a tree trunk bark, the details on here was just beautiful markings, and the black and white capture made it stand out even more. but I been told, you can see some footsteps in the markings, which is quite interesting I thought.
