A baby-Great Egret bird, searching for food in this creek/stream. I just loved how the lighting worked here, the clarity of the water, the sharpness on the face, and the parts of the feather.
I think that seeing these elephant seals was one of the most spectacular sights of our roadtrip to Los Angeles. One beach, probably half a mile long was simply covered with seals lying next to one another.

There is no feeling like that feeling you get when you are alone, walking in the wilds, absorbing nature. Imagine the scent of pollen, the rasping sound of the rare corncrake nesting in the wildflowers, the scuff of your boots in the brilliant white sand.
