  1. Ned Kelly (1855-1880)

    Before leaving on a vacation to Australia, I asked a couple of co-workers if they wanted me to bring anything back. I got the usual postcard requsts and a request for musk sticks (but, that's another story).

    A visit to the massive rock formation of Uluru is a standard stop for those travelers doing the Sydney, Rock, and Reef tour of Australia. We were told that the Aboriginal word for tourists is the same as their word for ants.

    The Crown Casino Fire Show along the Yarra River in Southbank, Melbourne. This show happens every hour in the evening.

  5. Matranka Hot Springs

    I don't make it completely clean to the hot springs. Everywhere you look there are bat dumpings and the smell is overwhelming.

  6. RoadKill

    Stuart Highway is the grant highway, bringing the North- and Southside of Australia together.

    Every night many kangaroos die on this highway. The kangaroos are atrachted by the warmth of the road.

  8. road to Dalhousie Springs

    The only way to get to the Dalhousie Springs is by 4WD. It's situated in the middle of the Simpson Desert.
    The springs are just incredible.
