   The Stinging Rose Caterpillar Moth
   
   I found this little guy while visiting my parents house in rural Indiana. I proceeded to get it to sit on that leaf and for the next 30 minutes I walked around with it taking pictures in different locations.

   This nearly palm sized spider sat quietly at face height just above the mens toilet. You know that thing can jump so you can imagine my concerns.

   When visiting wine country outside of Santiago, Chile, we couldn’t resist a stroll up into the foothills of the Andes. As I was maneuvering for the perfect aerial vineyard photo, I happened to glance down at my feet to see a giant – I’m talking 4 or 5 inches across – ferocious, bug.
