After spending most of a week in our tents watching rainstorms pass thru we decided to bail out of the Southern Picketts in the North Cascades NP. Our choices were slim - a long 2 day traverse involving several rock faces, or the quick route - a descent of 4,000' thru Devil's Club,downed timber and other underbrush.
The "Piedras Blancas" (White stones) glacier is a good example of the beauty of "Los Glaciares" National Park, Patagonia, Argentina.
