  1. Open All Year

One of the many arcades along Point Pleasant's boardwalk. I love the colorful light bulbs along the top.

  2. Fun House

A very bright and neon colored Fun House on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. There will be no kiddies running through this today, as I was there in the off season in December 2007.

  3. Kohr's

Kohr's arcade still showing the signs of old times. What I loved the most about the boardwalk arcades, shops, and rides at Point Pleasant Beach were how simple the signs were and how no one changed the look of these places.

  4. Spike's

A landmark in Point Pleasant, NJ. Spike's Fishmarket and Restaurant is known for the freshest seafood taken off the boats 50 yards away and directly on to your plate or in a bag to take home.

  5. Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park is located in southern Utah. Bryce is distinctive due to its geological structures, called hoodoos, formed from wind, water, and ice erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks.

  6. Inside El Morro

Inside El Morro, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. It had been raining so the doors look nice and black.

  7. Remnants of war

Bullet holes inside the Imperial fortress on Srdj mountain, above the city of Dubrovnik, Croatia.

This old fortress used to be a tourist attraction before the civil war, but in 1991 it was the front line that saw bitter fighting and guarded Dubrovnik from the North.

  9. Officer Quarters

This row of quarters were used by members of the U.S. Army assigned to Fort Hancock.

  10. Entrance to the Battery

This is the entrance to the mortar battery at Fort Hancock on Sandy Hook, New Jersey.
