   D'Annunzio called this ampitheater the Parlaggio. To the left is the Isola del Garda and to the right Punta di Manerba.

   Ampitheater at Il Vittoriale

   The ampitheater built in 1934 and completed in 1952 looks out onto Lake Garda, seats 1500 spectators modeled after the one in Pompeii.
