  1. Nathans at Great Adventure

    When you're this close to NYC, Nathan's can't be too far. Fortunately for the lover of great hot dogs, Nathan's can be found in the Boardwalk section of Great Adventure.

    Beneath the sun and clouds is a view of the Big Wheel (aka Giant Wheel) in Six Flags Great Adventure. At the time of the park's opening, this was the largest structure in the park and the largest ferris wheel in the world.

    This is the down part of the track on Kingda Ka, the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster. Nothing quite like reaccelerating to 128 mph after reaching a peek of 456 feet.

    This is the second drop on El Toro, the world's highest and fastest wooden roller coaster (2008). Up until this year it also claimed the steepest drop on a wooden coaster.
