   Once caught and gutted octopus are beaten (usually against the quayside) to tenderise the meat, then hung in the sun for a few hours prior to cooking.

   Back from koleem-bee

   The older generation on Kalymnos swim in the early morning for exercise. I saw this lady walk out to her swim and noticed the light start to increase.

    Overlooking the caldera of Santorini from the capital village of Fira. The atmosphere is so thick with serenity here that it is impossible to feel stressed out.
