  2. Kinkakuju

    Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) is a Zen temple formally known as Rokuonji.

    In 1397 construction started on the Golden Pavilion as part of a new residence for the retired shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu. Kinkakuji was converted into a Zen temple after Yoshimitsu's death in 1408.

    The Golden Pavilion functions as shariden, housing sacred relics of the Buddha and is covered in gold leaf.

    I don't make it completely clean to the hot springs. Everywhere you look there are bat dumpings and the smell is overwhelming.

  5. House in Rode Bay, Greenland

    All the houses in Greenland are painted bright colors (probably to see them through all the snow and to keep from getting depressed in the winter).

    This town only has a population of 50 people.

    Tivoli Gardens are located in the heart of Copehagen.It's not only a green park bu also an amusement park and a concert place... There we can find roller coastes, romantic gourmet restaurants, cafés, bars,a large number of different flowers and trees, a concert hall and various outdoor stages where it's usual to happen performances and concerts.

    One can find many old Volkswagens around the bay area, like this green Beetle. Surprisingly they are still in use and seem to run well.

  8. Venus Watching at Sundown

    The causeway leading to Green Key Park is a good place to bring a telescope as there is not much light pollution in this area.
    Tip: Bring insect repellant year round.

    These beautiful flowers greet you as you enter the park.

    This is the view from the beach of the sunset out over the Gulf of Mexico.
