  3. The most iconic skyline in Asia

Hong Kong's skyline is one of the most iconic in Asia. The 88-storey IFC Tower 2 looms large and the rooftop goal posts of the Bank of China Tower beckon a punt from the cross-harbor shores of Kowloon.

  4. Mid Levels Escalator, Central, Hong Kong

Much has been written about Hong Kong's escalator system, the longest covered stretch of moving walkway in the world, but it continues to fascinate and captivate me. Designed to relieve the steep streets of Victoria from executive-filled taxis making their way to and from exclusive mid-level apartments, the escalators instead created a whole new class of commuters – people making the trip up to the roads of SoHo – and in the process created a vibrant area of shops, bars and restaurants that remains an oasis of (mostly) relaxed calm within the mayhem of Hong Kong Island.

  5. Hong Kong Skyline at Night

  6. Hong Kong at night from the Peak

Hong Kong Island is a magical place, the Peak is by far the best way to realise it!

  7. Hong Kong Vertigo

On the roof of the 60 story building where I was working.

I lured my acrophobic boss up to the roof with me, who watched in terror, witnessing my energetic shift from the safe vantage point along the railing, to the exposed perch that I knew would give me the most direct view down.

Laying flat, with my legs twined around a pole for balance, I stretched as far over the edge as possible for a unique view of Wan Chai District below.
