  1. WindMill Hot Dogs

The WindMill is a Jersey Shore institution that is famous for its foot long hot dogs that are grilled to perfection with a firm casing and juicy center. But their hamburgers and french fries are just as remarkable.

  3. Great Dogs and More Since '64

Besides the hot dogs, the burgers are char-grilled to perfection...

  4. Dogs by the way

Wild dogs - unwinding - possibly after a sumptuous meal

  5. Matranka Hot Springs

I don't make it completely clean to the hot springs. Everywhere you look there are bat dumpings and the smell is overwhelming.

  6. Just Look for the Sign!

Hot Dog Johnny's, along Route 46 in Buttzville (heh heh!), New Jersey.

Route 46 was a major east-west throughfare before Interstate 80 was built, and Hot Dog Johnny's, which opened in 1944, is a pristine reminder of what roadside architecture and cuisine were like back in the day.

  7. Cusco Woman with Dogs

  10. A Man and His Dogs

Sunrise in the Santa Barbara Channel.

Slips in the harbor in Santa Barbara, California are at a premium -- people either inherit them, buy a boat that already has a slip, or wait years for an opening to come up.
